BC1 Olive Egger- Straight Run

BC1 Olive Eggers are a mix between a Black Copper Maran and a blue egg layer (Ameracana or Cream Legbar) ours are F1 and F4- F7.  These are then back crossed to a Maran rooster. They can lay are verity of colors that vary from dark brown to deep olive green. All of these chicks do come from a olive egg but they are not guaranteed to lay olive. They have a very mellow temperment and ours allow our little children to pick them up even the roosters!  They reach maturity around 5-6 months old and you can expect 150-200 eggs per year.
