BC1 Olive Eggers are a mix between a Black Copper Maran and a blue egg layer (Ameracana or Cream Legbar) to make F1 Olive Eggers. Ours are F1 and F4- F7. These are then back crossed to a Maran or Ameracana rooster. They can lay are verity of colors that vary from blue, dark brown to deep olive green. They have a very mellow temperment and ours allow our little children to pick them up even the roosters! They reach maturity around 5-6 months old and you can expect 150-200 eggs per year.
