Orpingtons- Straight Run

These are some of the sweetest chickens you can own!  They are wonderful for beginners and children.  These guys will take off in a full on sprint if they see you have treats and are the most likely to let you snuggle them.  They are great egg producers and lay approximatly 3- 5 large brown eggs per week.  They are the most likely one to go broody and hatch their own eggs for you.  They need to have fresh water avaliable in the Florida heat and tolorate the cold nights here as well.  They are a larger bird with hens weighting at ~8lbs and roos about ~10lbs making them a great duel purpose choice as well.  They should be a staple in every backyard flock.

Orders are filled in the order they are received. We do offer limited amounts of preorders for shipping weather permitting, please select "Preorder Shipped".  Chicks will start being shipped out in March and be completed by November/ December.  We ship out USPS shipping prices may fluculate up/down depending on final shipping costs.  We package our chicks in a sturdy box approved by the USPS along with grow gel, feed and a heat source if needed.   We are not responisible for damaged caused by shipping nor will we replace them, you can file a claim with USPS.  Please reach out to me if you have any questions and to coordinate pick up/shipping.
