Salmon Faverolle- Straight Run

This is one fancy chicken, it was originally breed by French farmers to withstand the cold and lay well in confinment during their harsh winters.  This breed has beautiful beards, muffs and feathered legs and feet and they also have a 5th toe!  They are defiently unique.  They do not do well free ranging, they are extreamly friendly, frequently go broody and lay well in the winter.  They lay medium cream eggs and you can expect 150-180 per year or about 3 eggs per week.  These are from my partner Nathan's flock!

Orders are filled in the order they are received. We do offer limited amounts of preorders for shipping weather permitting, please select "Preorder Shipped".  Chicks will start being shipped out in March and be completed by November/ December.  We ship out USPS shipping prices may fluculate up/down depending on final shipping costs.  We package our chicks in a sturdy box approved by the USPS along with grow gel, feed and a heat source if needed.   We are not responisible for damaged caused by shipping nor will we replace them, you can file a claim with USPS.  Please reach out to me if you have any questions and to coordinate pick up/shipping.
