Black Copper Marans (Dark Line) Straight Run

These chicks are from my flock that I have worked very hard on selecting from other wonderful breeders of SOP and dark egg lines.  We run a closed flock of only black marans. They are feather footed and will lay about 3 dark brown eggs per week and reach maturity later at about 8 months.  They are a very beautiful addition to add to your flock and your egg basket.  These are sold as straight run chick (male and female).  While the genetics are there and we have selected chicks and hens who lay the darkest eggs, we can not gurantee your chick will lay the same color.  We can not gurantee any shade of color as the dark egg genetics are complicated but we do our best in selecting the right hens and rooster.
